Process of creating the shapes

Shape creation based on intersecting circle and the numerical differences between a persons 1st and second name with in the group of 64 students.

After seeing some of the ideas today I decided to have a go at some simple 3d rendering of basic shapes (eventually to be influenced by Craig's system). What do you think?

• Create visuals that incorporate individual elements that can then work together as a group.

• Consider how the visuals can work within the real world, not just print and web.
I.e. vinyl, 3D shapes, and so on.

No Excuses!

Hi everyone, Ifan here, not sure if anyone will see this but there we go!

Due to the abysmal turnout for today's meeting (2 of us showed up), we really need to get the concepts of the show up and approved so we can move this on because this is taking too long to sort out.

Talking with Ian and Chris today, we've decided to set a deadline for TUESDAY the 17th (next week) for concept design/branding for the show. We will then spend all day developing these ideas so we can come to a full and thought out conclusion in order for us to present it to the rest of the year on Friday.

This deadline will be final, and so if anyone has an idea or concept for the show, then it will have to be VISUALLY presented on the Tuesday. We can't waste another full day going round in circles as we've all got other work to be getting on with!

So in conclusion : Concept work to be visually presented on TUESDAY, and then spend all day developing these ideas so we can fully present them to the year on Friday. Capiche?!

We Have Moved

This is an idea for the website I've been working on in conjunction with Phil and Craig (we'll be presenting the whole idea tomorrow). We really want to try and keep things simple, allowing the work to speak for itself.

Blog replacement

I decided to make the blog more general and apply to the degree show as a whole (not just the website).

You can still access it the same way with the same details (or the new ones given out at the presentation on Friday 6th).
